Samsung HW-KM45 Soundbar ARC

I was given a Samsung HW-KM45 soundbar. I have an NVidia Shield that I have connected via HDMI to the soundbar and from soundbar, HDMI to TV's Arc connection. I have a 4k tv with a 4k 60hz Arc port and the proper cables, but this setup is only giving me 1080p which resolution states on the TV as well as my Shield. Does this soundbar not handle 4k @ 60hz Arc connection?

Unfortunately this is a fairly old soundbar it will give you great sound but will not give you the pass-through options you're looking for the way you would hook this up run HDMI ARC to TV arc for sound only then directly connect your other output devices straight into your TV HDMI ports I'm not sure what TV you have but if you have one with an HDMI 2.1 Port that would be the best option especially for gaming. Remember any sound coming from the TV will come out of the sound bar running HDMI art to Arc if the bar itself has additional HDMI ports use those for very standard devices like a cable box that only does 1080p or Blu-ray player Etc but if you don't need to use those ports don't use the TV better this way
