Brand New Bespoke Refrigerator and Set Temp Vs. Actual Temp

I recently purchased a Bespoke refrigerator about 3 months ago. We love the features but there is a serious issue with the temperature setting and the actual temperature inside the fridge, the freezer works fine however. I initially set the fridge at 37°.  We noticed that it did not seem to get as cold as our previous fridge and food seemed to be spoiling frequently. I dropped the temperature setting down to 35°, then to 34°. Still no noticeable difference. Finally to eliminate the possibility that it was just in my mind, I decided to do a temperature reading with both my old fridge and my Samsung Bespoke with an infrared thermometer reader. With my old fridge (that sits now in our garage), point-set at 6, the temperature inside reads 34°-35° and it is not even at the lowest setting.  Our Samsung fridge reads between 42°-52° with the bottom sitting just above the freezer with the lowest temp at 42° and the side walls and top at 52°.  Now I am certain it is definitely not in my mind and have been dealing with this issue from day 1. All troubleshooting suggestions and setting configurations are not effective. I solicit your recommendation for a fix to this issue.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! I see how frustrating it can be when your fridge is not cooling properly. I would recommend trying the steps in the following link: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001027/, If this doesn't help then this will be something that will require service. Depending on your warranty you will have a few options. 

 

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up. 
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.
