Kitchen and Family HubI am replacing my old Maytag electric smooth glass top range with a new Samsung. The Maytag cooktop has endured very well after 22 years with just a little discoloration ware marks on the front 2 heating elements that get the most use. I was wondering how well Samsungs electric glass tops hold up after years of use? Is there any cookware recommended that is less likely to leave metal marks or scratches on the cooking surface?

Kitchen and Family HubHi there! I'm so glad you asked! I have a couple links to some great information about the best ways to take care of your cooktop. The first link I'm providing has detailed steps and tips on how to properly clean the cooktop and keep it looking it's best. The second link has a breakdown of different types of cookware. It even includes which types are more likely to damage different types of cooktops. I hope you find these links as useful as I did!
