The dishwasher is generating a 5C code but is draining fine.  I have cleaned every hose in the drain path, verified that there is nothing restricting the impeller, and replaced the filter (it was nasty). the power was removed for about 4 minutes to reset it as well.  still getting the 5C during a test cycle.  I am looking for information on what is used to sense how the drain is working.  anyone have this information?

Hi there, Thanks so much for asking about this! It sounds like you've already been through the recommended troubleshooting steps for the 5C error code.

Since the error code is still appearing after these steps, it is likely the sensor needs to be replaced. For this, we would recommend setting up service with one of our authorized service centers. There are a few options here we can take based on your warranty status.
If you’re in the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, please gather together the full model and serial number of your unit, and have ready your name, street address, 2 phone numbers (Best contact, alternative number), email, and place of purchase.
