I have an RS68N8220S9 fridge freezer.   The blue indicator light, that shows whether water, cubed ice or crushed ice has been selected, has stopped working, and only water is available.  I have tried resetting the ice maker and turning the power off and on, but without success.

What is the solution?

Since you have already did the steps to resolve this the next step would be to contact support and have a tech try to repair the Ice selector
