In the manual for this range it says to simply turn the bulb cover counter-clockwise to remove it. I tried that but it only rotates about 1/2 inch then it stops and no amount of force seems to move it enough to remove. Can anybody tell me the secret to removing this cover so that I can change the bulb?
1/2 inch sounds correct, just to "unlock" it, at which point you'd pull it out. Don't assume you have to unscrew it to remove it, it's probably just a slight turn.
