Our almost two-year-old Samsung model rf23m8070sr refrigerator/freezer has started to open and close the ice dispenser flapper door constantly. It happens whether the left-hand french door is open or closed and does not allow water or ice to be dispensed. Disconnecting the white multi-pin connector disables all operation on the door (ice/water/pitcher refill) and does stop the flapper from continuously operating.
After reading through many posts on this similar issue, it appears no fix is published to assist consumers in resolving this issue.

Kitchen and Family HubHello, I'm terribly sorry to hear about this experience, and can definitely do my best to assist with this matter. I would recommend power cycling the refrigerator by unplugging or shutting off the power that the circuit breaker for approximately 2 mins or more. You also may want to check the power cord itself for any damage or exposed wires. We also advise checking the door itself to ensure it is not damaged. Regrettably, if the troubleshooting steps do not assist you can use this service link to contact a local service provider for the area if the unit is out of warranty- https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/. The second option would be to purchase the service manual by contacting our parts department J&J international at 1-800-627-4368 for any self-repair needs to be as accurate and safe as possible. The last option would be to send the full model code and the serial number of the refrigerator in a private message to me here- https://bit.ly/3p4UuiW for any possible service option that may be available.

Kitchen and Family HubI replied via a Private message the other night yet have not gotten a response. In addition the freezer plate in the ice maker has been frosting up making it difficult to remove the ice tray.
