I have the Samsung Microwave Oven ME16K3000AS and I would like to disable the beeping sounds that go off after the food is done and sits for a minute. There is no options button. Samsung twitter suggested holding stop and start until OFF shows, but this process does not do anything. Does any one know how to mute the beeps on this model?
Microwaves are pretty basic in options. Either all beeps are on or off. To mute the microwave's beeper, press the Down and STOP/ECO buttons simultaneously. If you have a power failure, beeps likely will return. You could also remove the piezo speaker responsible for making the sound.
Hi there, I can definitely understand you wanting to turn the microwave beeps off. However, I did check the user manual for your model (linked below) and this model does not have an option to turn the beeps on or off.
