Water from dispenser is warm

I changed my water filter but now the water is at room temperature The ice maker is working fine.  There is also no light on the panel for the filter reset at all.

Hi there, I'm so glad you asked about this. @JBTechfanatic is right, our dispenser model refrigerators have a reservoir that holds about a quart of water, or approximately 2 - 4 glasses. If the water from the dispenser is not cold, the cold water in the reservoir has been used up and will take time to fill and cool again. Please note, during the summer months, water enters the fridge at a higher temperature which increases the time it takes to cool down.

As for resetting the filter indicator light, some models automatically reset the indicator when the filter is changed. If this happens, it is not necessary to manually reset the light.

When you change your water filter you must run around 3 gallons through the system by holding the lever down. Once that is done Give it 24 hours to get it chilled like normal. As far as the reset what model do you have so I can find where your reset button is?

RF23M807OSG/AA. I see a filter reset button on the top of the produce drawer, It was red which notified me that it was time to change the filter now it is just off. All the other buttons are blue.

Hold it down for 60 seconds and see if it resets it for you

Otherwise if you see fridge and power cool button hold them down together for 10 seconds and it should reset
