My pretty much brand new s90d failed after 3 months the week of the super bowl. It just powered off with no standby light. ( I'm sure it's the power supply). I have bought so many tvs, phones, appliances from them and I think I'm done. I'm just exhausted talking on hold and then trying to organize a repair company to come out where I have to unmount the tv put it in a safe location and remount the tv. It's exhausting and there price incentives aren't worth the junk they are now sell. I wish they could get there together but im done.

This is a problem with all S90D's. I bought an S90C on Amazon, and it was fulfilled by Audio and Video Center. They called me to schedule drop off and they said, they "were out" of the S90C and would give me a free "upgrade" to the S90D. I unknowingly said yes and now I know they just me over. Then I went online and reddit and saw everybody complaining about the power boards when my TV wouldn't turn on 2 months after purchase. Samsung asks you to have multiple issues. So they sent somebody out to replace the board. Worked. Then a month later, same issue. They sent service quick out again to just replace the part and not actually find the issue that was burning out the powerboard. It worked and just last week, a couple of months after the 2nd repair, it happened again. I had to call samsung, and service quick never logged the issues, but if you have 2 calls, you can then go forward with a refund. Absolute customer service. I am going to sue A&V Center, as they knowingly sold me a defective item. Amazon is no better and Samsung is the worst.

LED and OLED TVsMy S90D had similar event- no power up despite verified powered outlets and good IR signal from the Samsung remote control. It was plugged in a power surge protector in normal functioning mode and circuit breaker in good status. Mine was manufactured in June 2024, installed in Sept 2024 with very light use (less than 8 hours a week). Too bad that mine is just another un/reliability data point. I have good coverage from Costco extra protection plan in addition to Samsung original warranty.

LED and OLED TVsMy 77 S90D just died after 4 months, won't turn on. Wait a week for repair, maybe they will swap out the power board, but sure hope it doesn't keep happening.

LED and OLED TVsSamsung, whether you care or not I was just about to buy my 5th Samsung TV until I see this issue posted everywhere. Thankfully people are posting their experiences and preventing folks like me from purchasing a Samsung OLED and living with this nightmare. I will be going to LG due to lack of any viable responses from Samsung that this issue has been resolved. Who cares if it is covered if the problem repeats every 2 months. Shame on you Samsung for not pulling these TVs off the market until you fix the problem.

LED and OLED TVsThe same thing happened to my 5-month-old 77" S90D six days ago. I bought it from Sam's Club last October. I opened a service request, and the Samsung service team came today. Without even looking at the TV, they replaced the power board in under 20 minutes, and the issue is now resolved. They unmounted the TV from the wall and also brought a table. One thing the repair technician mentioned was to plug the power cord directly into the wall outlet. I hope this helps someone out there when deciding whether to buy this model or repair it.
