You could have a million Mbps speed ad your  house but samsung tv's LAN port are old connections, there 100Mbps ports .. so the real speed will be when you divide 100 to 8 and that's  12.5MB end of story people ... deal with it ...  it does not matter if you have  cat5 or cat5e orcat6 or Cat7 cable ....

CAT7 cable not needed.  CAT7 is proprietary, lacks IEEE and EIA approval, and is not widely adopted.  CAT6 and CAT6a provide full 1G capability.

Try a Cat 6 cable.

Try wifi just to see if the ethernet connection is inherently slow.

I have the NU8000, juts got a gigabit connection, pretty sure I'm running a cat6 cable, have to double check, last night my speedtest via ethernet was ~140Mbps, but with wifi I reached ~170Mbps which I was hoping for more, but reading here I seem to be getting more than most, So no way I can see closer to my 1gig?

I've got a UN55MU8000 and was wondering if you use a USB-to-Ethernet Adapter (that supports 10/100/1000 Mpbs), can you achieve speeds faster than 100 Mbps via USB vs the TV's ethernet port?

Q7N TV Core issue was YouTube TV issues. Internet speed over WiFi or Ethernet is 500 to 600. However using TV browser speed test max on Ethernet was 95. Switched to WiFi and speed is 225.

Am I right to understand max TV Ethernet port speed is 100? That is why WiFi is over double?
But why isn’t WiFi speed higher? All my other devices measure 5 times faster?
