We just hung a DU6900D set. Is there an "old fashioned" remote (Samsung or aftermarket) that will match well with it in addition to the provided one?
I'm 71 and like my remote to have a nice clear button or rocker switch for single functions: Channel Up, Channel Down, Volume +-, 0-9 for inputting OTA channels and so on; the current sleek itsy-bitsy black on black items with multifunctions (Press once for Volume, twice for Channel, Press and Hold for Closed Captioning options) are a REAL pain.
Our daily needs are simple: OTA channels, a few apps (Netflix, PBS, Prime, etc), volume, mute. I've got the SmartThings phone app, but that's a "no way" item for my wife.

Wow, it never occurred to me that these were 'backwards compatible'! Yep, our existing Samsung remote in our kitchen works it just fine...so I'll order one ASAP. Thanks!
The BN59-01315J is the closest remote model, containing the Netflix, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus buttons, the same shortcut buttons as the One Remote (except for Disney+, of course).
