We have a samsung TV that has all of a sudden started to display small banners in the right hand corner of the tv screen. It tells us that a dryer has finished its cycle and the network cable is disconnected. This started without us directing the tv to alert us. We do not have a dryer setup to alert us and the network cable is fine. This banner will display many times a minute with a little chirp sound. Any help on how to stop this are welcome.

LED and OLED TVsTurn off the alerts until you have devices set up? Do you get to choose which alerts it will give you?

LED and OLED TVsI'm sorry I know nothing about the tv. I was just thinking there has to be something in the settings about alerts. It may be picking up someone else's dryer that is either scarfing off your Wi-Fi network or in close proximity.
Check your Wi-Fi settings to make sure that nobody is actually on your Wi-Fi but you if necessary change the network name and password
