We have a samsung TV that has all of a sudden started to display small banners in the right hand corner of the tv screen. It tells us that a dryer has finished its cycle and the network cable is disconnected. This started without us directing the tv to alert us. We do not have a dryer setup to alert us and the network cable is fine. This banner will display many times a minute with a little chirp sound. Any help on how to stop this are welcome.IMG_8593.jpg

Turn off the alerts until you have devices set up?  Do you get to choose which alerts it will give you?

How can I turn them off? We never set them up, we don't have a samsung dryer at our home.

I'm sorry I know nothing about the tv. I was just thinking there has to be something in the settings about alerts. It may be picking up someone else's dryer that is either scarfing off your Wi-Fi network or in close proximity.

Check your Wi-Fi settings to make sure that nobody is actually on your Wi-Fi but you if necessary change the network name and password
