Not connecting to antenna tried resetting and all

Have tried resetting and scanned multiple times! We get bad weather where I live and can't even get local weather! This TV has been nothing but trouble! I just want regular channels;  my local channels, please help.

It may be necessary to install an outdoor antenna. The signal may be too week to pick up anything indoors.

It would be cheeper to use your cellphone for weather, and the weather app could alert you at any time to dangerous or severe weather conditions.

But that doesn't resolve your program viewing issues.
