I've got a hard drive attached to my TV with lots of video files on it. I've occasionally spot-checked a file to make sure it plays all right, however, when I return to the file at a later date (sometimes MUCH later) to watch it, it starts playing from where I left off rather than from the beginning. Is there any way to get video files to play from the start as standard? I'm surprised the TV even bothers to remember where all the video files are left off!!
Try deleting the TV's cache memory, hold down the power button on the remote control for 20 seconds when turning on the TV, or unplug the TV for a few minutes.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but no dice! They need to do an update that offers to play from the start or play from where you left off! It's one of those obvious things that easily get overlooked.
