I have some rental property with a Samsung TV with prime video app. A renter locked the app including the “add account” option with a password. I have tried deleting g the app, rebooting TV, then reinstalling app. But when launched it still displays sign page with the renters account and locked with password. Please help.

Factory reset the TV. Not sure the steps to do it. But yea that's the only option.

I would go to settings, scroll to support, then self diagnosis, scroll to reset on my UN32N5300.

Maybe you should purchase your OWN Prime video app subscription and quit piggybacking off your renter. Do they even know? And you guys are going to help him do that? Seriously?

Of course I have my own. I log off when not using the house. Someone rented the house for a week and logged on to his own prime which happens often. Sometimes renters fail to log off. We simply go in and log them off ourselves. This time they set a password and we could not log them off and could not log ourselves on (the + was also password protected). We did the factory reset as has been suggested and that worked.

Try doing the factory reset, that would be my option even on a UN32N5300
