LED and OLED TVsSame issue!!! This has to be a Samsung software update gone bad or something! Makes me feel better to find this with 6 other posters! Was working fine in the morning, then yesterday evening (November 17th), the "Smart menu" stopped working correctly. It will let me "open it" by clicking the "Home Button", but arrowing right and selecting different items is not functional! So I am limited to moving between channels and adjusting the volume. However, I know it is not my remote because I can go directly to "Settings" and navigate just fine throughout that. I've reset the tv to factory settings to no avail. I suspect it is something with "Samsung TV Plus" because that is predominantly displayed and almost seems to have taken over the TV. I should also mention that the "input" button does not work so I can't manually select the input/HDMI ports.

LED and OLED TVsI'm not at home so haven't been able to try any of the suggestions here, but towards the end of this thread, the "fixes" sound promising: https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/1gtsy6l/samsung_smart_tv_wont_come_off_samsunt_tv_plus...

LED and OLED TVsAnother fix: it has something to do with Samsung tv plus pulling in internet data.
Do this: Turn off internet at your router then reboot the tv. Home menu will become responsive. Then go to settings > general > smart features and disable auto run Samsung tv plus and enable auto run last app. Then go to an app on the Home Screen other than Samsung tv and immediately start up the internet again. At this point youāll be able to start and stop the tv just fine with the internet because Samsung smart tv no longer auto starts.
