Please note that multiple users are experiencing issues with updating their SSD firmware via the Samsung magician application and you are not alone, hopefully a fix will be released soon

Magician offered me the firmware update and has been showing the "Firmware update is in progress" for quite a while. Came across this thread - is it safe to stop the update?

Stopped it several times.  Did not appear to cause a problem.

Yesterday, a new version of Magician became available, and after I installed it, the firmware update loaded OK.

My Laptop is not starting AFTER 970 EVO Firmware Update. Started Update. Laptop shutdown and NEVER started. Now, What Should I do? thanks Samsung for Crashing my Laptop?! I do need help. That is absolutely bad! Hope someone may reply asap. Many Thanks!
