I have a LS49AG952NNXZA version of the G9, and I have been using it with a DP cable, and can hit 240 hz in game when full screen (R6 in this case is the game). However, since R6 doesn't support the full resolution of this monitor, I would like to play in Windowed mode to open up the sides of this monitor for other windows. The issue I'm seeing is that when I switch to windowed mode, even on the menu, I get 7 fps.
I've tried with an HDMI cable and can get 144 hz when windowed, so I'm wondering if this is an issue with the DP cable that I have, or something that's monitor specific, before I go buy a new DP cable to try.
