Monitors and MemoryJust got the Samsung G9 OLED and this is my setup:
M1 Max MacBook Pro connected to Samsung G9 via usb-c to displayport cable (getting 5120x1440@120Hz which is great)
Logitech C920 connected to usb-a to usb-c adapter, that came in the box with the monitor, which is then connected to one of the usb-c ports in the monitor.
The monitor itself recognizes the camera i.e. when I go into setting for the monitor and to the camera section, I can use the camera, but my mac does not detect the camera which is a problem.
What am I doing wrong? I need to get the mac to detect the camera that is plugged into the monitor (I don't want to connect the camera directly to the mac)
Monitor and Mac fully updated fwiw.

Monitors and Memory@userLOLgKeKR5G From the user manual, it looks like you must connect your Mac to the display via USB C to use the monitor as a USB hub.

Monitors and Memory@userLOLgKeKR5G Unfortunately the monitor USB C ports are only for the hub. You can not use it to drive video. To drive the video and use the USB C hub, you would need to connect one USB C to USB C cable and one USB C to Displayport or HDMI.

Monitors and Memoryhmm i see, that still doesn't work though. I have a usb c - DisplayPort from the mac to the monitor to drive video, and then I connected a usb c from the mac to the PC usb c port of the monitor and then the logitech camera is connected to one of the other usb c ports on the monitor, but the mac still does not detect the camera.

Monitors and MemoryAlright, after spending the better part of a day trying to figure it out, I finally solved the problem.
It took a combination of changing USB ports on the mac and waiting some time for the popup to appear on my mac to allow the hub to connect. Once I hit accept, everything worked.
