I have recently installed an MZVLQ256HBJD-00B00 on my Gigabyte B250m-D3H motherboard.
Samsung Magician (current version per 17 Feb) does not show temperature for my SSD. Also it does not report any possibility to do overprovisioning
Am I missing something here?

The PM991 you purchased is Samsung's minimal option SSD for OEM's to populate their devices with at low cost.
It is not supported by Magician.
