I can't save a new contact to my phone with the app giving me the options to Stop app, Wait, or Report. Wait when selected does nothing, dialog box pops back up.

If your phone or tablet is misbehaving, it's possible that a third-party app is causing the issue. To figure out what app is acting funny, you can use the Safe mode feature. In Safe mode, your device won't run any third-party apps. This allows you to easily identify and remove the app that may be causing the problem. If Safe Mode has the same behavior happening, it may be time to give your device a fresh start with a factory reset. When I try to add a contact to my contacts list it will pop up on the screen ( stop app ) ( wait ) ( report ) and if I tap wait, it will pop right back up . And it will keep popping up until I press stop app. But I can't get it to work no matter what I do. Is there and update that will fix it
