Update giving option to change skin color of emojis

Just recently I noticed that I am now able to toggle between different skin colors with human emojis, but I also noticed that this option is not accessible with the human couples or human families. Why is that? Is this a glitch? Could this be fixed? I'd also like to have families that look more like my own.

Hey I tried that. And I just recently purchased the Galaxy S8+ <Verizon) from Ebay, but mines wont change either... I see the little gray dots right top corner of the emojis that supports the color changing feature.. but as I hold it down down for however long it still doesn't give me that option.. idk what the problem is..
