Projectors & Other TVsHow do you turn off the auto-detect HDMI feature? Sometimes my Apple TV comes on and then the TV automatically turns on as well but I don't want the TV to do so. How do you turn off this feature?
Thanks,
Mark

Do you have a soundbar with your setup?
I however do have a soundbar. Anynet+ is ON on TV and soundbar only. Soundbar works with TV remote and HDMI switch is currently disabling the wonderful 'feature' and long may it stay tht eay

Projectors & Other TVsIt would be nice to know which TV you are claiming works correctly, and what version of firmware it is running.

I never claimed the TV was working correctly, I claimed, as you put it, that the HDMI switch was a workaround

Projectors & Other TVsworkarounds :
- turn off Anynet+ . => In this case you cannot use the TV RC to control your devices or other CEC funtions
- Hide devices behind a hdmi switch or other devices. => you have to use 2 or more RC to control your équipments. + if you buy a switch, you spend extra money on a function supposed to be included in your TV.
- setup your devices to completly shutdown, the only device on will be the device your are watching at TV. => You can't left them in standy mode to do Scheduled record, scheduled update or to be used on other TV or Monitor etc...
if you connect only one device to TV you will not have the hdmi auto switch issue because there will be only one hdmi port in use.
i think there are many people all over the world waiting/hopping everyday for a solution from Samsung. not all have joined this forum, or replied to this thread (because samsung use different references for the same TV, and don't have a unique worldwide forum for all their clients).
Samsung i hope you will fix it soon

Projectors & Other TVsJust a heads up, per Gill at Samsung US Support Twitter, they have sent the issue to product support, who have sent it to engineering.

I would suggest that everyone on this thread continue to keep pressure on Samsung support to resolve this.

You'll have to forgive me for not being optimistic.
I'm right on the edge of giving this failed TV from a failing company to a relative, and getting an LG, Sony, or Visio. It has so many built-in issues I can't sell it, so I suppose I'll end up giving it away.

Projectors & Other TVsWe need to keep this thread going until we get a satisfactory response from Samsung. They robbed me of $1200.00, and I'm not resting until the whole world knows it.

Good idea, here's the URL to my review. If it doesn't work, let me know!
