Mirror iPhone on Samsung TV

I installed a screen mirror ap.  It sees the TV and can connect to it -- at least it says it is.  How do I find it on the TV?

You need to go to your tvs settings and select the menu icon devices and select your phone and allow the phone to sync with your TV

Connection is extremely slow.  Also saw some comment flash by about recording.
