Roku hijacks tv homescreen

Hi. Samsung 75q80B with roku in hdmi1.   When I turn TV on roku launches and hijacks homescreen. I'd like tv to turn on and show samsung home screen. Any thoughts? Thx john

You have to change the input on your tv to the tv instead of the hdmi to do that

If your TV doesn't have a "start on port" setting or start using last input option it relies on hdmi to tell it where to start which, as you can tell, is often problematic.

I believe the reason why this is happening is because HDMI-CEC is launching Roku when you turn on the TV. You can disable that feature by going into Roku's Settings > System > Control other devices > Uncheck 1-touch play.
