TV Warranty - won’t honor one day late

I have a Samsung tv that I purchased on Oct 4 2023 and picked up from the authorized dealer on Oct 8th. I submitted a warranty claim on Oct 5th 2024 and Samsung will not honor the warranty. They want a proof of pick up but their vendor only shows the day the tv was ordered and not picked up. I provided proof of purchase and the transaction date on the invoice even shows it was processed on 10/8 but that is not good enough. Either way it is shocking that being 8 hrs late on a warranty claim and they won’t honor or honor their own vendors invoice that shows the day the payment transaction was processed.

Think ant company has same policy in regards to warranty one day late and it's out if warranty kinda like being 1 day late payment for something

The purchase was completed on October 4th, hence the warranty went into effect on that date, it doesn't matter when it was picked up. Meaning, the warranty expired on October 4th of 2024. I don't know of any company that has a warranty policy starting on day of pickup as opposed to date of purchase.
