QLED and The Frame TVsWhen watching over the air/antenna programs, the TVs screen saver comes on every few minutes and is really annoying.

QLED and The Frame TVsThis problem is intermittent. Every "fix" I've heard of or tried has had absolutely nothing to do with it magically starting to work again. Just wait long enough, and the problem comes back, meaning the "fix" was just a coincidence. Please let us know if the fix keeps working for you.

QLED and The Frame TVsI had the same problem with my S95C. I seem to have fixed it by turning ON the Auto Power Saving option under Power and Energy. (Opposite of what was expected.). Even stranger, I could then turn that option OFF, and the fix holds. Worth a shot..,

QLED and The Frame TVsAlso having a screen saver issue with the S95 screen saver being triggered every two minutes while playing Spotify. This page suggests this is working as designed. 2m is far too short and it's really odd to not provide users with the ability to change this setting. Please give us that option!
Protect your screen with Screen Saver
To prevent image retention on the screen, the Samsung OLED TV has the Screen Saver feature enabled by default. Upon pressing any button on the remote control, Screen Saver mode is canceled and returns to the original screen.
If your Samsung OLED TV displays the same still image or does not have an input signal from an external device for 2 minutes, Screen Saver is automatically enabled.
Note: Screen Saver is a default function to protect your Samsung OLED display and cannot be disabled.

QLED and The Frame TVsHaving the same issue with my S90C. Issue only on OTA channels. Went away when I deleted Chat Together. Not a permanent fix. Keeps happening again. Samsung, FIX THIS. Make your smart TV smart enough to figure out that we're watching OTA TV and the screen isn't getting burned in. The screensaver popping up every 2 minutes makes OTA TV unwatchable on a $2000 TV. Do you realize that people who have this issue will never buy another Samsung product again if you don't fix it?

QLED and The Frame TVsHere’s what’s working for me:
I turned on the TV to watch over the air football on Fox. After 2 minutes the screensaver kicks in. When that happens I press and hold the channel button to get the guide/directory to show up. Then I select the same channel I’m watching. After that, no more screensaver after 2 minutes.
However, if I change channels to another over the air channel then the screensaver will start after 2 minutes. Then I press down on the channel button to get the guide and select the same channel and the screensaver doesn’t come back.
Hopefully this gets fixed. It shouldn’t be happening with a $2000 TV.

QLED and The Frame TVsMight have a workaround, but I’ll believe it when I (don’t) see it.
I finally had my service appointment, which I figured wasn’t going to solve anything since this is undoubtedly a firmware bug, but it was the only way to get the attention of higher level support within Samsung. Fortunately, I had it in that state prior to the technician arriving, and left it there. He saw it sure enough, and was good enough to not play games with me when we couldn’t reproduce it a second time while he was there. He called a super secret, technician only, Samsung high level support number and did some live troubleshooting. They wanted him to reproduce it again, because they weren’t exactly sure what he was talking about. Things were about to become disappointing when he couldn’t, but then I pulled out a video I had taken before. He used his phone to capture a live video of my video so they could see it. That seemed to finally get some traction. They put him on hold, then came back with a supposedly known workaround (we shall see), as well as a confirmation that it’s a known issue (maybe they heard us!) with a fix slated for a future firmware update - no date for that.
Enough of the backstory. The workaround is
Settings->Broadcasting->Data Service->Data Service: Uncheck that. Nothing on that page should be checked.
