Samsung 8K tv and ps5 pro issues

I just bought a ps5 pro yesterday and my Samsung Q900R 8K tv is apparently not compatible with the ps5 pro. I’ve read some reasons as to why but I would really appreciate some feedback on to why it’s not compatible and if there’s anything I can do to make sure it is compatible or if it will be compatible in the future.

Get a better HDMI cable to get the visuals your system supports now and future proof 4K @ 120Hz or 8K @ 60Hz. Look here:

Don’t think the cable is the issue.  The ps5 pro hdmi cable is the one that’s connected

Does that cable have an 8k label or printed on it HDMI 2.1 ? HDMI 2.0 does not support 8K, only 4K.

My one connect box HDMI port 4 supposedly supports HDMI 2.1 that’s where the ps5 pro is plugged into

This seems to be an issue brought up elsewhere maybe a firmware update can add dsc.

Ps5 pro does support 4k @ 120hz or 8K @ 60 Hz.

From what I have read Samsung S90D/S90DD OLED works great with PS5 and these are 4K.

Man I’m really bummed out about this I’m praying I can find a solution. But looks like the TV isn’t capable

There’s a few that support it like gran turismo 7 that’s what I tried last night.  Unsuccessful
