I keep getting apps on my phone that I have not downloaded. Could my husband have cloned my phone data?

I had to end up doing a factory reset. Safe Mode didn't work so I lost almost 125 GB of files, photos, etc. 😮💨

Hello Broken253, We understand the concern with apps being downloaded to your phone. Most likely, there is an app on the phone that is downloading additional apps.

Try putting the phone in Safe Mode. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/ If no apps download while in Safe Mode, there is another apps causing the behavior. You will need to identify the app and uninstall or disable it.

@Brokenme13 Another possibility is your carrier. Some carriers promote apps and push them to their customers. Often they provide an opt out.
