If Samsung doesn't have a built in document scanner, can someone suggest a safr, secure one in the playstore? Repeat, safe and secure not full of malware.

Thanks

Not sure what kind of device you're using. But for all the newer phones they offer You have the option to set it in photo mode then focus on a document and in the bottom right of the screen you will see a little yellow button pop up that with a t that usually sit means text. If you click that t it will take the picture and then you have the option to go into the file where the picture is stored and you can choose to either have it read the text or to scan the document. If you choose to scan the documents you just have to line the little four corners of the box up with the borders of the paper and it manipulates the image so that you end up with a flat image. It's pretty handy and it works pretty well. I have it on my z-fold 3 and I think I had it on my s20 ultra as well.

Isn't it already built in on the camera app?

Not sure what phone you have but you should be able to turn on scene optimizer and scan documents and text in camera settings.
