RCS for samsung messages

Is there a way to get RCS for samsung messages so I don't have to use Google messages. I love all the features of samsung messages but would love if it had RCS. Or it would be great if samsung and Google combined all there messages features together then that would be great too.

Samsung is retiring the messages app. Google messages will be the default for Android devices for uniformity says Google.

RCS messages aren't working. It keeps getting stuck in setting up, trying to verify my phone number but my number has already been verified. I switched from s21 ultra to s24 ultra..

I had that problem setting up my brother's phone, went to the Play Store, uninstalled and reinstalled.
That fixed it for me!
