Galaxy Ring NFC?

Does anyone know if Galaxy Ring has NFC. I had heard you could lock things and pay using the Galaxy Ring? Is this true? If not, then it should.

I am quite sure there is a page on the Samsung web site with all the specs of the ring.

It does not have NFC unfortunately
