My Samsung Messages app keeps closing. I've restarted my phone multiple times. I've gone to Settings > App Settings > Messages > Storage and hit Clear cache and Clear data. When I do this, the space used for cache and data go down to 0, but then immediately go back up to the original storage amounts when I reopen Messages.
I found a previous conversation about Messages crashing in Dec 2023 and tried following the instructions but when I held down the power button and volume up with the phone turned off, the phone restarted as normal, even though I held them down until after the Samsung logo disappeared.
If I can't fix it, can I install a different app for
My Google storage is 94% full. Could that be connected?
On Sunday, I started having the same issue with my Google maps crashing as soon as I'd select restaurants or one of the other search options at the top and start scrolling the list, by the first swipe to scroll down it would crash out. Messed around and tried typing out the type of places I wanted to search wether it be restaurants, gas, hotels, etc. As soon as I would start to scroll the list it would crash. Now if I just searched a residential address or neighborhood and scroll, it was fine.
It is still having this issue with no fix.
This morning, I went to check some text messages and it started crashing out of the app repeatedly. No update, no fix. And it isn't allowing me to send feedback.
