Samsung Apps and Services
I love the Modes and Routines capabilities, but to be honest when this new distinction came out I actually lost functionality in my workflow. I used to be able to trigger a mode by hitting a nfc tag (before the routines update). NFC tags aren't an option that can trigger a mode anymore, and Routines (which can be activated by NFC tags) can't restrict app usage like modes can. Oddly enough, routines also can't turn on a mode (why not?). I feel like it'd be a useful enhancement to allow a routine to start a mode along the many things it can do which will help solve my problem. Sure, I could figure out a routine that when I hit a nfc tag it starts a setting like dark mode or something and maybe opens a specific app which is then used as a trigger to start a mode... but that would be very roundabout.
Asks:
1. Allow a routine to nativelly activate a "mode"
2. Allow a mode to be activated based on an NFC tag
