This irritates the heck out of me. When I am typing a message (in Samsung Messages) and I get an incoming text from someone else, my phone bounces me out of what I am typing and into the new incoming message on its own. If I'm not paying attention, I could send a message to the wrong person. It would be lovely if someone knows of a way, to turn that feature off or tell me how to stop it.
Download Messages for Google instead of Samsung. You can use encrypted messages like iPhone [RCS chat] with typing notifications & read receipts. I like the other messaging app better than the Samsung one.
