I have a feature request that would be a very helpful for weight training, to have a page to add and customize your workouts like squats and benchpress etc, as well as create a routine that you can follow with integration on samsung health on the watch, example apps jefit and strong lifts.

New research shows that a 5 minute walk every 30 minutes correlates with improved blood sugar and blood oxygen levels. We need to be able to shorten the duration between inactive time alerts from 50 minutes to 30!

Suggestion. Add a load weight to the Hiking action and adjust Calories for it.

External Heart Rate Monitor (HRM)

As many have pointed out, optical HRMs start to lose resolution above ~110 bpm. This is why I like using an external HRM for workouts. However, on the Watch4, the only way to use a Bluetooth, external HRM is with a third-party app like Google Fit, Adidas Running, or Sporty Go. I really like the Samsung Health app and all of its metrics and want to use an external HRM, please enable this functionality.

Lactate Threshold

I am coming from a Garmin and one feature I loved was the ability to estimate lactate threshold. I understand this is just an estimate, but it was still very useful. Obviously, this would also require the external HRM mentioned above.

Easily Customizable Workouts

I'm a little obsessive with having just one app for one purpose. I would like Samsung Health to be my one-stop-shop for all things health/exercise, the same way Garmin Connect used to be. It took me quite a while to figure out interval training settings under "Running" and would like to be able to save workouts to do again. It would also be nice to set up my workouts on the phone app, then send to my watch. The ability to then schedule these workouts onto a calendar would be clutch.

I second the suggestion for using an external HRM. My Watch 4 is about 20 bpm higher versus what my Polar 10 reflects. To use my Polar 10, I have to have my phone with me.

I would have a feedback for improvement, which please send it to the department in charge, on the galaxy watch, those with wear os galaxy watch4 and 5, the health functions should be improved, automatic scanning should be introduced in the background for irregular rhythm like the apple watch and fitbit and to improve the stress scan which is now possible only the option of continuous stress scan and it is not possible like the pulse once every 10 minutes .. please send this feedback to those who deal with software for the galaxy watch thank you !

I had some suggestions for the Samsung health app. 

First the ability to change the Marcos target on the app. Currently it automatically makes targets yet you cannot change them. My doctor provided me certain targets but I cannot change each one separately (carbs, protein etc). I want ability to change each to my own recommendations not what the app automatically changes all. 

 

The 2nd suggestion in the food tracker is that to add ability that when you add the food it shows micro nutrients such a omega 3, vitamin d, etc.. to track if meeting daily targets the body needs.
