Samsung TV Plus disappeared.

This morning I woke up and turned on my tv to realize that there is no Samsung TV plus app. It used to always be the first thing that would open automatically, the first app in the Smart Selection. It literally is GONE. I have never had an app just disappear like that, more specifically the own company’s app for their free provided tv service which is WHY I purchased their TV. Let’s fix this Samsung. Please and Thank You

i have this issue too! it might be nationwide. i was so sure my tv was broke and was in near tears trying all of the trouble shooting i could think of.

Firmware is up to date and might be the issue, just like so many other applications when code is changed and not properly evaluated before issue.

Confusing instructions. Explain to people who don’t understand even how to ensure we have the latest firmware.

Same thing with my situation, newer samsung tv the app disappeared, older tv still working.

We had no idea there was an issue until my elderly mother-in-law called to say she was having trouble with her TV, which is not unusual.  After about an hour of trying to get it straightened out, we figured out SamsungTV Plus was missing.  We turned on our TV and found the same thing had happened to us!  I wonder if this is a widespread issue, or a problem in a concentrated area, like Middle Tennessee, where we live.  My MIL also lives in Middle Tennessee.  We are going to wait for Samsung to figure out a solution/fix before trying to reset and all that hassle.  We have other viewing options.  This whole thing is odd and has me thinking there has been a hack or something.

Same here, only repurchase a Samsung for this feature.  But this new TV is so slow to function after pushing buttons I think it has a post covid cheapo processor.  We have been gutting it through with this slow tv performance, worse that a 15 year old tv.  Now with losing our tv feature too I think Christmas time is a perfect time to switch over to Sony or LG.  Sad, we are Samsung through and through…

Updated firmware and still no Samsung TV Plus. What's the latest update on fixing the issue ?

Same here! All 3 of my TV's are missing the app. When I search for it all that comes up is Samsung promotions app. Would have been nice to get a heads up if they've decided to revamp the app. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
