This morning I woke up and turned on my tv to realize that there is no Samsung TV plus app. It used to always be the first thing that would open automatically, the first app in the Smart Selection. It literally is GONE. I have never had an app just disappear like that, more specifically the own company’s app for their free provided tv service which is WHY I purchased their TV. Let’s fix this Samsung. Please and Thank You
My android device is not compatible with it. And that's besides the point is this a data breach! I even went on the browser on my TV and still could not download the app.
Unbelievable: Samsung acting like a fly by night internet company, not the slightest word as to when this issue will be corrected, I understand free, but to get inside of user's TV's and delete the app? sheez why not take over my credit card as well? Its incredible to think that I actually paid over two (2) grand for this piece of junk, however will be returning to Best Buy by tomorrow and settle for that Sony!.
I have tried resetting the TV to factory , checked the software update . It says up to date. Still no Samsung TV app on my Smart Samsung Tv. Pressing the Samsung TV Plus button on my Samasung Remote gives me the message “ not available”.
I'm having the same problem - it just disappeared. I bought the TV yesterday ! And the Samsung TV plus was a deciding factor ! How will we know when you have fixed this? Will it just simply reappear in our lists?
One of the first things to show up when checking the updates, was a notice saying that I don’t have enough space for the update so it was unable to be completed. I was suppose to delete apps to make space. I deleted those that I never used or didn’t need readily available. Samsing tv plus was never an option to delete. Also, after “deleting” many apps, I never had enough space for the update to be noticeably completed. I’m not a gamer and I don’t have a lot of streaming apps etc. I watch Samsung tv, steam on occasion and less still antenna tv. Hopefully I didn’t screw something up trying to find out what happened to the Samsung tv plus app. I look forward to the solution.
My Samsung TV Plus is missing and the TV says an update failed due to not enough storage. I have nothing but the preloaded apps on the TV and it won't let me delete any of the preloaded apps.
