Hi, I am trying to use the PC on TV > Easy Connection to Screen app for my Samsung TV and Windows PC.
I've followed all of the instructions and my TV is not showing up on the "PC on TV - Easy Connection" app installed on my PC, nor is my PC showing up on my TV for the "Easy Connection to Screen". I am able to connect via Screen Sharing and Remote PC options with the same PC. I can also connect my Galaxy S10 to with Dex and Smart View with no issues. I say this because it may give you some clues to my network settings that may help diagnose my issue. I know I can use the other two methods, but I'm hoping that this will help someone else having the same issue. I can't find any logs or relevant info/data coming from the app to debug the issue. Here is a screenshot from the app on my PC. Please advise.
EDIT: it's been a almost 3 months... If I didn't like my current software engineer job so much, I would quit, get hired here, just to debug the issue or fix the bug myself, and then walk out of that job too. I am going to send the Samsung Team a link to this message and see if they address the issue.

Hi! Same Issue here. We have installed the TV in our office and when we download the Easy Connection app to our windows PC (windows 10) then we try to open the app but it closes direct and we can't accept the terms. Please advise how to make the software work on windows PC. Even if we run the application as administrators the same problem appears on 3 different computers.
I had the same issue. Both mirrorcast and easy connect were working when my pc is on win10. However, nothing works after I upgraded to win11. Anyone got this solved?
Easy connect dont working for me becauase of germany windows version. (System.Security.Principal.IdentityNotMappedException)
But miracast works.
After upgdare windows 10 to windows 11 you need to remove all bluetooth devices & wireless minitor (all connections are dead after upgrade).
Then install the windows additional feature "wireless display". reboot.
Check the WLAN Ndis Driver version (musst be >=6.3), if not try to update.
powershell as admin,
"get-netadapter|select name, ndisversion"
( miracast works only with WLAN)
turn off / on your tv. then try again to connect the wireless display.
It's an ongoing problem. Please fix this. Otherwise, just deprecate the feature. You guys are making a confusion.
