Dear Samsung,

There is a bug in Samsung Keyboard when using Dark Mode. Whenever I mistype something, a popup box suggesting a correction but everything in this box are black, can't see anything. The background is black and the suggested text is also black. Black text on black background, can't see the text.

To fix this issue, please change the suggested text color to white. This issue only occurs whenever we use Dark Mode.

Looking forward to a fix soon!

Thanks

Until there's a fix, there may be a workaround.  If you download GoodLock and the Keys Cafe module, you can customize the colors of your Samsung keyboard.  Or you can switch to G-Board and not have that problem.  G-Board in dark mode has the lettering in white, you can also just choose to have the keyboard theme stay in light mode. It also has the talk to text mic in the correct place.

Thanks for your useful help. However, I don't want another keyboard that does the same thing, just waste my storage space on my phone. Plus, more things you install, the more they drain your battery life and data collection, especially Facebook. Most apps nowadays want to steal your personal data quietly in the background, contributing to battery drain even when you are not using your phone. This privacy invasion needs to stop. My 2 cents.

It is a minor glitch Samsung needs to fix. That's all.

Your choice. You are the one that's complaining. If you are worried about privacy, you need to not use tech. Also, dark mode is an abomination, but that is also your choice to use it.

Do Samsung Engineers and Developers take these feedback and bugs repot in this forum?

How do I send feedback and bugs report to Samsung engineers and developers directly without using Samsung Members app?

If you meant using Samsung Members app to report, then no thanks. I uninstalled that app since it steals your info just to send basic feedback and features request, not bug report. I attempted to send a feedback once, it takes a while to collect and gather so much info about my phone, using close to 1 GB of my phone disk space, reducing flash storage lifespan unnecessarily.

Did you know that SSD and flash storage has limited lifespan on disk writes? It is called MTBF or TBW. 90% of the people have no clue.

Every time the system(OS) updates, it uses significantly disk space, write operation on your flash storage. Thus reducing its lifespan.

No, I mean go into your phone settings and go to the contact us.  The error reporting may bring to you to the support site, which is not the member's site, but rather linked to from there.  It is the only way to put in an error report.  It does not steal your information; it asks for your phone log for the purpose of trying to help you with your problem. Do you really think they are keeping a database of every user's info? Are they the NSA? Are you so important they would even want that data? You do not have to send the log, but it will go a long way to helping you.

Really, if you are that paranoid about Samsung (or any other tech company) stealing your data, please throw away all your devices and do not use them and, certainly do not ask for help.  Of course an update will use disk space, as they add improvements/new features, it takes up more room. Any time an update takes place flash storage needs to be used to remove what they are taking out to replace with what they are putting in (just like ANY operating system update on any computer or device). It does not reduce the lifespan.  I don't know how old you are or what generation you are in, but surely you don't need lessons on how tech works.
