Unable to create custom stickers in Gallery

I'm having an issue creating stickers from the gallery.

In the past, we could long press to get a sticker selection amd then manually edit that selection.

Now however, the ai selection makes it's selection, and we get no option to adjust that selection at all.

(For instance, I wanted just a head selection, but instead it selected the entire object with now option to crop or adjust it.)

Getting some videos posted on how these new tools can be used would be SO helpful, instead of only seeing 50,000 camera shootouts.

This update really bothered me, too. Before you could click "edit," then "stickers" and from there you could open any other image and use the various Lasso tools to select what you wanted, turning those parts into a "sticker," which you could the apply to the image. Now it seems you have to click edit, then the "Generate" button on the lower left. Click on the "+" at the top left, click an image and you will have those same old Lasso tools, just like before. Once you've made your selection, you can add it to your original image, like a sticker.

That's really dumb of them to relocate it like that.

If anything, the automatic sticker maker should be in the generate menu instead.

They ruined it. That feature was one of the main reasons i got the phone. Fix it samsung.

I agree, big reason I bought another Samsung. This phone has not been a bundle of joy.

Yes it does suck! How to select entire picture! Why would they do this!

This new update is the absolute worst! I wish I could revert to the old one. Wiped all my settings and it ruined so many apps! You can't even select parts of pictures as a sticker to add on another photo. The new AI tells you what the sticker is and auto selects without giving you any choice of what to select or deselect. Do not download!

Working fine here. I just tried to create a sticker and it worked as it should.

Try resetting by pressing and holding power and vol down until the phone reboots.

I can create a sticker if I go into a picture as an independent workflow or if I click on the AI function within an edit of another pic and hit the +button to select and then edit from there by clicking on the 3 dots after holding to select. What I can no longer do, is creat a sticker that is selectable/de-selectable/editable, outside of the AI function. It creates an auto clip of what is in the picture, that you are stuck with. It's either use the AI function and it will render the pic after editing or don't us AI and it forces the selected clip it chooses anyway.
