I'm having an issue creating stickers from the gallery.

In the past, we could long press to get a sticker selection amd then manually edit that selection.

Now however, the ai selection makes it's selection, and we get no option to adjust that selection at all.
(For instance, I wanted just a head selection, but instead it selected the entire object with now option to crop or adjust it.)

Getting some videos posted on how these new tools can be used would be SO helpful, instead of only seeing 50,000 camera shootouts.

I have the same absurd problem,  I use this (normally) to place my logo. So one (not perfect, because it's harder than just to place a sticker, but still..) solution is to go to your picture (in my case logo) that you want to embed, click the 3 dots, copy to chipboard. Than go the picture you want to place it on, click the 3 dots or hold on it > paste from clipboard. And then it works exactly as the stickers.

Ufortunately it doesn't let me save it as a sticker even from this position, so I can't find it under recent stickers, so I have to do the whole thing every time again and again (if the image got replaced in the clipboard meanwhile).

And it doesn't work on videos, there I use cap cut...

Very very stupid thing to change Samsung... one from many many others. Take note!

S22 user here, i found it. Open gallery and edit a photo. 3 dots in the top right > settings > labs > select manual.

Now when you go to make a sticker in the sticker button on your keyboard, you can have manual control.

Correction, can only add stickers when your editing a photo, so the button next to the 4 dots at bottom > stickers > swipe left > + icon

Keyboard method still only uses ai.
