Unable to create custom stickers in Gallery

I'm having an issue creating stickers from the gallery.

In the past, we could long press to get a sticker selection amd then manually edit that selection.

Now however, the ai selection makes it's selection, and we get no option to adjust that selection at all.

(For instance, I wanted just a head selection, but instead it selected the entire object with now option to crop or adjust it.)

Getting some videos posted on how these new tools can be used would be SO helpful, instead of only seeing 50,000 camera shootouts.

@B52_B52 The capability is there, it has just moved. 

1. Open Gallery
2. Click on a photo
3. Click on the pencil icon
4. Click the icon which looks like a group of 4 circles. The icon is just above the navigation icons on the right side. 
5. Click on Lasso
6. Here you can use Free-form to draw around the object or you can click Shape to select an area using a shape.

The feature you described is just cropping the picture itself, it is not about the stickers.

Of course, after cropping the picture I can insert it as a sticker, but this is just an extra (unneeded) step and it does not work properly in many cases, because AI kicks in and tries to define a fraction of the pic as potential sticker material.

I've got the same problem and I'm very upset about it where can I write my nasty letter that will be ignored ???

Please for the love of God let me chose if I want to clip stickers. I get they improved the object selection but I DO NOT WANT to always clip! Some images it doesn't quite select perfectly or selects the complete wrong part of the image. Not to mention some things are just too difficult to cut out at all! I just want to be able to make them square/round again. The simplest possible thing to implement that you ALREADY HAD AND TOOK AWAY!!!

Same here, before upgrading to OneUI 6.1, I was able to manually draw around what I'd like to clip to become my sticker, but now there are no options to do so. It automatically makes a clip to the picture you've selected to be made into a sticker. There's no choice to add another area yourself.

 Even if you press next, you used to be able to add doodles, shapes and what nots to the clip we made, but now only this:

 I understand the clip might be more accurate after the OS upgrade, but being removed the option to manually fix anything AI couldn't do is sad. Please make a fix, I really liked what you've created for allowing us to simply make our own sticker and use Samsung Keyboard to send it to people.

Yeah I tried various to get it to not know what to clip a sticker of like having a few images on screen then it just say sorry can't make a sticker, that's a bad design update, I use the sticker feature immensely in group chats and now can't edit how I want to, please add back the sticker clip as a manual option

Before the one ui 6.1 update I could make custom stickers with a "lasso/snap to shape" option or manually draw a shape that I wanted to cut out of a picture. It was extremely useful and perfectly functional. Now it selects the object in the picture for me. There doesn't seem to be any option to select an object from the picture on my own, crop, or otherwise customize the sticker I want to make from the photo in any way. It just pulls an image and gives some filter options. Please, I'm begging, return this feature to it's previous, actually useful state.

I found the too I just take a Pic of the object then use that for my sticker
