Unable to update Modes and Routines with apk

When is the Samsung Modes and Routines utility going to be updated? I tried updating it via an APK file but it said it can't be installed.

May I ask what you are expecting out of an update? I would think any updates to that module would come in an OS or UI update, since it's not a standalone app.
