Call and text feature on galaxy s9 plus tablet

Will there be a call and text feature on tab s9 plus in the future? Because i do not see one on my tablet. I can text from Google messages on my tab s9 plus but, i can't make or receive phone calls on my tablet. I was wondering did my tablet and s23 ultra support the call and text feature like on other devices?

You can do that now. In the Quick panel, there is a toggle for call on other devices on the tablet and phone.

Call and Text is not available on Verizon or AT&T because they offer a similar product.

I use AT&T network, have a galaxy tab s9 ultra and an s24 ultra. I can get text messages on my tablet using the "calls & texts on other devices" feature.

Verizon is removing the app for call and text on other devices(message+), hopefully We can get this enabled now on the tablet.

Yeah, I'm with Verizon, and they don't have the call and text feature. You can only text through Google messages

I use Samsung Messages on my phone and Message+ on my Tablet.  When used like this they don't sync perfectly but Message + can be used anywhere  the tablet has internet, no phone needed.
