I purchased a used Galaxy S4 tablet from an individual and it is locked because I misplaced it a few months back and I can't remember the email or the any kind of recovery information I put into the tablet it has a lock screen and it won't let me power it off so that I can soft reset or manufacturing reset I paid a hundred dollars I'm 56 years old on your side I can't afford to get another tablet need help unlocking my friend said that when I did the find my device and locked everyone out of my cabinet because I thought somebody stole it but it wasn't stolen it was in my closet of all places please help me unlock like I said I'm on SSI I can't afford another one

If you have access to your Gmail account on a different device, you can change your password there and then log back in to your tablet with the new password

You should be able to force reset it, but if you can't remember your Gmail address and password, you won't be able to use it after reset anyway, as it will still be linked to your Google account even if the device password is no longer on it.

If you hold the power button for 15-20 seconds it should force the whole thing to power off

Try and reset your password in your Samsung account.
