TabletsSM-X800 - what will happen with the Dex application onboard the Tablet when UI 7 rolls out?
If there is someway to escalate this IDEA to the top y'all might want to consider taking this into consideration as to the potential impact it may have on customer loyalty. I WOULD HATE TO DROP WHAT HAS BECOME THE PREMIER PRODUCT FOR TECHNOLOGISTS like myself. It would definitely give me forethought on future purchases for Smart TV's, washers, dryers, tablets, phones, etc. . . Samsung has been an amazing company to date since I bought my first S3 and switched from the Motorola Atrix / tablet combo. Hoping someone is paying attention. 46 years in the industry and I have seen a few Tech giants take a major hit because of unconsidered decisions going forward. . . hoping someone is paying attention.

Tablets@Computer Chris Dex will still be there. It seems that Dex for Windows is going away but that won't change the availability of Dex on phones and tablets.

TabletsThe issue is using DeX on the SG Tab 8 Plus natively as the desktop running Android 15 with UI 7.0 - I am not connecting the Tablet to MS Windows, this is the concern that was raised. Will the Tablet continue to launch the DeX platform on Android 15 and 7.0 as a stand alone?

Yes. As stated, the notice is only for Dex for Windows.

Tablets@Computer Chris, We are all users and have no more insight into what Samsung is going to release than you do but as far as I know, the only change in the Android 15/7 release is that they will finish the deprecation of the DeX for Windows feature.
I run DeX 100% of the time, 24/7, for 2 and a half years so if that was true it would greatly affect me as well.... But I don't believe it is true.
When the Linux for DeX was deprecated, there was plenty of official warning about the change... I would assume the same to be true if they were ending DeX.
