Tabletshi folks
Having previously worked fine suddenly no one can hear me in a zoom or messenger call. I've checked all the obvious settings and i wasn't muted. The mic is working in all other scenarios - recording videos, making a voice call via messenger - but not on either of the video calls.
Can anyone help?

TabletsCome on Samsung this is taking far too long to put right and you've cost us money. I started this thread days ago and there are so many people affected. Like I said at the beginning and everyone else has reiterated it was your update that messed everything up. Please fix it.

TabletsI have 3 Tab A (2019) for the wife and kids. All 3 experiencing the exact same issue only after upgrading to the latest security patch.
The Mic no longer works in 'communications' apps (Google Meet, Skype, Zoom, etc...).
According to a Reddit thread, this isn't unique to me.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyTab/comments/ns50we/samsung_tab_a_2019_t290_microphone_not_working/
I've confirmed it's absolutely the patch that causes this as I didn't upgrade 1 tablet. I tested Meet and Zoom on that tablet and it worked just fine. I upgraded it and then those apps no longer worked (the microphone doesn't work in those apps).
I've tried the obvious things- making sure the app permissions allow it to use the mic, restarting, making sure the apps are up to date, resetting the tablet's data, etc... But the culprit seems to be that upgrade to T290XXU3BUE1/T2900XM3BUC1

TabletsHello. Had this problem yesterday on 2 of our tablets. Fixed it by downgrading. Used ODIN software, samsung usb driver and firmware from 2020 (whatever could find). All found on the web for free. Do not have all links on me right now. Just Google it.
