Washers and DryersHi there, that is definitely a concern for the breaker to trip while using the dryer, and it will be my pleasure to assist. First, we recommend for you to shut off all power to the dryer and inspect the power cord. If the power cord is in good condition, the second thing is to check the vents connected for any obstructions or blockage that may cause the dryer to over-heat and therefore will trip your breaker within your home as a safety precaution.
We recommend having a licensed electrician or professional installer perform an overall inspect of the dryer for you and check all outlets. And, as a final option, to identify the cause accurately we recommend having a technician service the dryer for any potential part failures that may cause the breaker to trip as well. You can find a local provider for your area using the service link here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/.
Please note:
Gas dryers need a 15 Amp circuit (and use a regular 3-prong outlet).
and
Electric dryers use two-part circuits for a total of 30 Amps (and use special 240-volt outlets)
